Valyōu Furniture Feathers Sectional Review: 6 Months Later

Of course, with a big purchase like a sofa, you wanna know how the product holds up over time and if it’s really worth the money. I’ve tried out quite a bit of sofas & sectionals over the years and while I haven’t tried everything Valyõu has to offer, I absolutely stamp the Feathers Sectional. Six months ago, I first received the couch and gave my initial thoughts. Since then, my thoughts haven’t changed much — it’s beautiful, 1000% a compliment generator, sturdy, very stylish and timeless, plus it’s comfortable. With all that said, let’s dig into it a little more.
First, I wanna talk about how low-maintenance the sectional is. Because of the feather interior, it does require you to fluff the cushions here and there, but honestly.. that’s about the extent of your standard care! Fluff the cushions to make sure they keep their shape and you’re good to go.
I wanted to keep my room nice and light, so I went with the Beige colorway of the sofa. Naturally, the lighter the color, the easier to have an “oops” moment where the couch may get a little dirty. Between eating and drinking, it was bound to happen and even though Valyōu stressed how easy to clean the Feathers Sectional was, I was naturally a little skeptical. There was no need, though. Everything came out with a wet washcloth or standard stain remover very quickly. The cushion covers are machine washable, and I would have done this method, but I was a bit lazy.
There’s another underrated thing I really wanna highlight — the depth of the couch. The one I had before the Feathers Sectional from another brand was awesome! I truly loved it, but my only complaint was the depth front to back. I’m 6’, 225 lbs — being able to spread out and lay across a sofa comfortably is a big deal for me. This sofa delivers.
Full transparency — I had to sell my Feathers Sofa because it’s a little too big for my new NYC apartment (more on that life update soon), but I’m pretty sure I’m going back to Valyōu for my new sofa as well.
