The Nike Dunk Low “Veneer” returns to the sneaker world — all the way from 2001.

Folks, the sneaker gods blessed me this week. The Nike SNKRS app (which we all have a love/hate relationship with) gave me early access to the Nike Dunk Low “Veneer” — a remake of the same sneaker that was a Japanese exclusive back in 2001. As a part of the Ugly Duckling pack, it was released around the same time as the Nike Dunk Low “Plum” and “Ceramic”. There’s some real history here.

Retailing at only $100, it blows my mind how high the quality is on this model. The suede is BUTTERY and moves to the touch. The extra ankle padding feels amazing. The colors are very vibrant and have a gorgeous shade to them. Overall, these are easily one of the top sneakers of the year to me. They release November 10th at 10am eastern and I’m giving these a rating of AUTOMATIC COP.
