It’s everyone’s favorite time of year — SSENSE taking all of our money :)
Their Private Sale is back and with that being said, I’ve combed through all 48 pages of footwear on sale and picked out my standout choices. Everything I love and would personally cop.
Sneakers
I’m a heavy New Balance guy, so it’s only right we start with them. I’m happy to say a few months ago, I finally realized why people love the New Balance 550 so much — they are comfortable as HELL. Beyond. There are about eight colors on sale, but this white/cream color way is my favorite. Next up, we’ve got the 990v6 model — one that I consider a perfect shoe. I already own the all grey pair, but I’m also eyeing these yellow and green joints, both over 25% off. If you still want classic, but something a little slimmer, go with the 990v4 — also over 30% off and with a few colors on sale, too.
Next up, we have everyone’s favorite — the adidas Samba! These are on a pretty heavy sale at over 30% off, so take advantage. I still need a pair, too.. On the classier tip, we have the Common Projects Achilles (one of my favorite models ever). I’ve been wearing this shoe close to a decade and only buy them on sale, so now’s the perfect time. They come in 100 colors, so take your pick and at 40% off, you can’t lose. I’ve always wanted a pair of Axel Arigatos, and this Gray Clean 90 pair might be my first ones! I also think these white & grey APC Plain sneakers are perfectly simple (and 40% off). To wrap this up, I’ll leave you with what I think is the greatest designer sneaker of all time — the Margiela Replica model. I own a pair and they’re def worth the money.
Boots
I’m really picky about my boots, which is why I don’t have that many pairs to begin with as is, but I do want to highlight three of my standout faves. First up, the one that needs no introduction, the Clarks Wallabee Boot. I’ve always owned a pair and probably always will even when I’m 60. They’re only about $100 on sale, so automatic cop for sure. A pair that really surprised me are these Tan Lugger Boots by Clarks, giving me Visvim type vibes at a fifth of the price, haha. Finally, if you want quality, look no further than Danner. Butter leather boots with a Visvim sole for under $300? Yessir.
