My Everyday Carry Items

I always love seeing what people have in their Everyday Carry posts, so I decided to share mine. I keep it pretty basic with a few quality items, but I think you’ll enjoy them. Check the photos and the rest of the breakdown below.

Everlane Nylon Commuter Backpack - $68

I’ve been using this backpack as my daily bag for about two months now and haven’t looked back yet. I usually store my chargers, pens and work phone in the outer storage. On the inside, I can fit both my 13” personal MacBook or 15” work MacBook without any issues. My tripod, a book or two and an extra shirt are usually tagging along in the backpack, too. Highly recommended.

Warby Parker Durand in Rose Water - $95

For the LONGEST time, I was on the search for the perfect pair of blush pink frames until I came across these. Technically these are a women’s model, but they worked out just the same. If I ever ruin these, I’m going back for the same exact pair. Warby Parker has been my brand of choice since 2013, so check them out if you haven’t already.

Miansai Cigar Band, Matte Sterling Silver - $95

If we erase the early-2000s from memory and disregard the days of chunky mall kiosk chains and heavy earrings, I’ve never really been a jewelry guy until now. I wanted a simple, but classy stainless steel ring and came across this one by Miansai. The build is heavy and well made and has an open base to allow for small adjustments. Plus, it goes perfectly with my watch.

Seiko SKX007 Automatic Wristwatch - $232

I’ve got to give a huge shoutout to my homie Ariel for getting me into watches. After so many chats at work about the watch game, I’m fully addicted now! This was my first big boy purchase, courtesy of some super cool people at Long Island Watch. I actually wrote up a nice piece about this watch earlier on my blog, so make sure you check that out here. I don’t leave home without this thing.

Comme des Garcons SA3100 Classic Wallet - $75

For $75, you can’t beat this beautiful piece from Comme des Garcons. I’ve had this wallet for years and I still get compliments on it to this day. The leather is butter soft and wears nicely over time. The gold zipper, outline and foil writing on the inside are nice touches, too. Similar models from CDG are double the price, but save some money and check this one out —you’ll fall in love.
