My content creation equipment has evolved over the years, with it really just being my phone and a $20 tripod for a very long time. I upgraded piece by piece over the months and years to what I have now, which pretty much handles 95% of the photos and videos I do. There are so many great items on the market, so do your due diligence and see what fits your needs and feel free to ask me any questions as well, but I’m linking everything I currently use below. My camera, my tripods, even my microphone and more. Enjoy, happy shopping and happy creating!

Camera

Sony ZV-1 — Definitely the best camera I’ve owned to date. It’s really geared toward videos and short vlogs, with the front facing camera and endless video settings, but trust me — it’s a killer for photo too. The majority of stuff you’ve seen me post in the last year, it was probably done with this.

Tripods

K&F Concept 67” Compact Tripod — This is my mainstay and everyday use tripod. It’s heavy duty, can withstand any sort of weather or condition outside without falling over — super sturdy! It’s easy to pan, rotate, use on different levels and surfaces and will work with pretty much any camera/phone as long as you have the right adapter. The included one is automatically ready to use with any standard camera. If you need something heavy duty, this is the one.

Joby JB01507 GorillaPod 3K Tripod — This is one I may take out and about with me if I don’t plan on creating, but I want something just in case. Also, it’s great for getting tight angled shots around the crib or elsewhere where my standard tripod would be too big or in the way. Great price, great to keep around. I don’t use it too too often, but when I need it, it’s super handy.

EOCEAN 54-Inch Selfie Stick Tripod — This is the style tripod I used for a very long time as my main option, until I wanted to upgrade. I still keep it around when I need quick shots with my phone (IG Reels, TikTok, etc). Does the job, but I wouldn’t use it too much in the wind or etc outside. It’s not super sturdy — but if you mostly create in the crib or in an office or such, check it!

LenTok Overhead Camera Arm — This overhead arm attaches to the side of any desk and gives the perfect overhead look for those above-view shots. It’s also very sturdy and made to hold actual cameras, not just a phone. Excellent addition to the toolbelt.

Remote Control

Sony Shooting Grip with Wireless Remote Commander — This pairs perfectly with the ZV-1 Camera I mentioned above. I can remotely shoot photos and videos, so thats’ how I get all these clean shots without any help. You can also use it as a tabletop tripod — I don’t use this feature as much, but it’s handy when I’m vlogging somewhere or recording a video and I don’t want to whip out my whole big tripod. Set this on the table, screw the camera on top and you’re good to go.

Microphone

BOYA by-MM1 Shotgun Video Microphone — If you’re shooting video of any kind, I always recommend getting an external mic. Luckily the ZV-1 has a microphone input, so you can plug and play this bad boy no problem without any adapters. With video, the visuals are important, but good audio is mandatory.
