Maison Margiela Jazz Club
The definition of timeless. This has always been a staple in my collection over the last few years and I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it. Margiela has a hit on their hands with this. It’s like the perfect blend of bourbon, vanilla, cigars, musk and more. If you want something that works year round, but really stands out in the cooler months, look no further.
Tom Ford Tuscan Leather
I’ve known about Tuscan Leather for a while, but it’s a newcomer to my collection. It smells very very grown man and luxurious. There’s a reason it carries the price tag it does. Not only does it smell good, but the lasting power is insane. One spritz and you’re good for the day AND night. No bullshit.
D.S. & Durga Burning Barbershop
D.S. and Durga’s coolness goes beyond the scents. The way they formulate their scent profiles is pretty interesting and it’s what caught my attention to begin with. Read more about that here. This specific scent, Burning Barbershop, fits the same kinda profile as the Jazz Club for me - a lot of that musk, dark bourbon, etc. It’s something special.
Roll-On Oils (Egyptian Musk)
Last but not least, I think everyone needs to take advantage of some good old oils from the oil man (or woman). The scents last long, the bottles last forever and there are hundreds of options. My favorite oil is always Egyptian Musk. It’s potent, smells sexy and works perfectly in the colder months. You’ll thank me later.
