Angela Davis x Renowned: “Heroes Of Blackness” collection

Renowned has always been a people-first line, constantly putting on for Black people and giving back on many occasions. The mission continues with the launch of their latest collaboration, in partnership with the one and only Dr. Angela Davis. The collection includes a new version of their “Heroes Of Blackness” tee and hoodie, now featuring updated graphics and a new jet black colorway.

As far as the details go, expect nothing less than amazing. I have the original run of this tee and let me tell you, it’s easily one of the highest quality tees I have in the wardrobe. The material is heavyweight with real work put into the quality, not just your everyday blank tee. The distressed graphic is beautiful up close and the embroidery along the neckline is the perfect added touch. The hoodie features the same graphic print shifted over to the side, with the word “Dismantle” embroidered over on the other side.

Most important, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to DREAM DEFENDERS & UNDERGROUND GRIT. A beautiful collection for a beautiful cause — I highly recommend it.
