Three Things I’m Loving This Week

Peace! This week is all about style. I’ve been obsessed with these items recently and even purchased two of the three, with the third one on the way soon.. Enjoy.

  1. Le Mont St Michel Genuine Chore Jacket — there’s something so special about a chore jacket. One of my favorite clothing items you can find anywhere, tbh. I throw on them in place of a blazer when I want to go a little nicer with shirt and tie, or even with a plain tee, jeans and sneakers. I purchased the navy blue one recently from Uncle Otis. If you’re looking for alternatives, you can even go vintage for cheap on Ebay, or for something new, this version from J.Crew is awesome too.

  2. Subway Series ‘47 x Blackstock & Weber cap — lemme tell y’all a secret…. I personally believe I have a weird shaped head and it’s sooo hard for me to find hats that fit how I want. Dad caps are too round for me, fitted hats look like I have a six-head, snapbacks don’t fit — it’s all bad. BUT. I’ve found out that adjustable nylon caps fit me really well, In fact, my favorite hat I own is from Only NY (the Speed Logo cap), but these collab caps from Blackstock & Weber are quickly taking over that spot. They have more structure than a dad cap, but nowhere near as much as a fitted and just feel good. The nylon material is sporty, but classy all at the same time. I copped the Mets and Yankees… I know, sue me.

  3. J.Crew Softboard sea-knit shirt in Plaid — this style of shirt is timeless. In fact, I’m always looking at the original vintage versions of these, like the ones you used to see in your parents’ Sears catalogs back in the day. They’re durable, classic, and really an essential for anyone. They come in solids, but I think you’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t grab a plaid one. Currently, they’re on sale too.. don’t be surprised if you see me with a few colors soon.
