I was first introduced to Oars + Alps when NFL star DeAndre Hopkins became their newest sponsor. Every skin and body brand isn’t suited for Black men, but when I saw his face, I was happy to give them a shout. They pride themselves on having great products formulated with clean ingredients and no real harsh chemicals. I can always get down with that. I got my hands on a good chunk of the collection and below, I tell you how to build your own quick skincare routine using Oars + Alps products. Enjoy!

Natural Body + Face Wash

I will say, I’m very picky about facial products, especially combination ones. With products made for the face and body, typically I reserve it for just the body. I tried this in the shower and it’s amazing. Exfoliating, refreshing. lathers well and smells amazing.

Natural Charcoal Solid Face Wash

Out of the whole Oars + Alps lineup, I’m probably most intrigued by this product. Anything charcoal related for my face is a win and I love how it comes in a compact travel size. This is def coming with me wherever I travel when the world opens up again. It’s smooth to the touch on the face, cleans well and even slightly exfoliates. I’m a huge fan.

Wake Up Face Serum

The key to any good skincare routine is a great serum and I can vouch for this one. Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E are the key ingredients in this serum, so you’re in for a treat. This helps brighten dark spots, even out your tone and really provides some good antioxidants. Add this to your routine.

Wake Up Eye Stick w/ Caffeine

It’s not always the easiest thing in the world to take care of the bags under your eyes or lighten up those dark circles, but the Wake Up Eye Stick handles that. Since I stopped wearing glasses, it’s been super easy to notice my tired eyes, so I need something to help. A few days of using this stick and I’ve already noticed some improvement the more I use it. Use this underneath your moisturizer or throughout the day and you’re good money.

Natural Face Moisturizer + Eye Cream

When everything else is said and done, don’t forget the moisturizer. The Natural Face Moisturizer is non-greasy and feels really good, almost like a nice medium weight lotion. The aloe leaf juice is soothing and the Vitamin E helps add even more moisture, too. No frills or nonsense, it just works.

Dry Hand Repair Cream

I don’t ever leave the house without hand cream. If I did one of those GC Top 10 Essentials videos, hand cream would be #1 on the list! Shea butter, sunflower oil and coconut oil all help my hands stay smooth on the go, man. It also has a nice cedarwood scent to it (one of my favorite smells ever).
