Rado got in contact with me and sent over their Golden Horse Automatic 1957 watch for a quick hands-on. Before I even get into the details, the watch is GORGEOUS. It comes with a 37mm case and even at that smaller size, this thing packs weight. It feels heavy and sturdy in-hand — you can feel the quality from the jump. With automatic watches, reserve time is always a key feature and with this, you’re looking at 80 hours of runtime before you even have to touch it again. Another thing that’s important to me, especially at this price range, is the build of the case. Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating is what you need and it’s exactly what you get here.
