My Personal Fragrance Rotation

No matter what your style is or what’s in your wardrobe, a good fragrance rotation will take you far. Below, I’ve listed out everything in my current rotation and my thoughts about each fragrance. Hopefully you find something new you want to try. Enjoy!

Maison Margiela Replica: Jazz Club

This is the number one fragrance in my collection. Most people rock this in the fall and winter, but honestly—I wear this year ‘round! It’s the perfect blend of musk, rum, vanilla, sweet cigars and books about building generational wealth. This will stay in my rotation until the end of time.

Yves Saint Laurent L’Homme

If someone asked me to name one scent that would get Rihanna’s attention if she walked past, this would be the one. It just shines, man. It’s masculine and sensual. Overall, an awesome blend of bergamot, ginger and cedar. Another essential.

Hanami by Phlur

I started working with PHLUR this year and they were my first introduction to clean ingredient-based fragrances. They definitely know what they’re doing. Hanami is light, but fragrant enough to get attention. Perfect for the Spring and Summer with its mix of sandalwood, white florals, fig and a little hazelnut.

Versace Man Eau Fraíche

I bought this on a whim a few months ago and was thoroughly surprised. To me, it just smells nice and elegant. There’s a good blend of woodsy and citrusy notes, too. I’ve gotten compliments every time I’ve worn it out somewhere.

Olmsted & Vaux by Phlur

This is my most recent purchase from PHLUR—another one that’s perfect for the season. This one pops hard with a burst of citrus and ginger. I have a different burst of energy when I rock this one.

Versace Dylan Blue

This one is different, for sure. I couldn’t see it as my daily wear, but when I do break it out, it’s a hit. It’s masculine and strong, carrying some serious notes of bergamot, saffron, fig and slight hints of aquatic scents.

Maison Margiela Replica By The Fireplace

Maison Margiela’s REPLICA line absolutely hits the mark every time. Like I said earlier, Jazz Club is my number one, but By The Fireplace is creeping up the list. It’s warm and spicy, with huge woodsy, clove and vanilla notes. It really does smell like a fireplace, but in the best way possible—not something is burning down or a forest fire.

Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensée

This is the biggest hidden gem in my rotation. It smells like straight up vanilla, minus all the unnecessary sweetness. This stands strong on its own, but here’s a pro-tip: layer this with Jazz Club and you’re gonna lose your mind. That was my go-to all last year. Thank me later.
