“Is That Black Enough For You?!?” Premiere Exhibition Recap

Big thank you to Strong Black Lead and BLK MKT Vintage for having me tonight! We celebrated the upcoming premiere of “Is That Black Enough For You?!?”, a documentary highlighting the evolution and revolution of Black cinema in the 70’s.

BLK MKT Vintage redid and curated their whole shop with Black cinema, film and music artifacts from the 70’s — top to bottom. Aunts Et Uncles provided the fire vegan food and Ode to Babel came through with the fire drinks (idk if The Wiz us on their internal drink menu, but if so, order that). It was such a beautiful time and always a pleasure to be surrounded by so many beautiful Black people.

The documentary drops Nov 11 and today, Nov 5, BLK MKT Vintage is open from 12-5pm for the public viewing of all the curated items. Please check it out if y’all get time! You won’t be disappointed. ✊🏾
