Let’s just get this out of the way now — Haus is one of the coolest companies out, period. They’ve created a beautiful line of apéritifs, which I think is super interesting. Apéritifs are liquors whose flavors come from roots, fruit and herbs. They’re also usually served before dinner, to prepare yourself for the upcoming meal. They carry a lower alcohol content than your standard liquors too, which makes them great for both mixing or sipping alone.

I was able to get my hands on their latest flavor, Peach Passionfruit and boy…… it’s serious business! Just the right amount of dryness, sweetness and peach flavor, with a subtle passionfruit undertone to it. It’s great on the rocks, but I want to share the recipe I’ve been drinking with it. Let’s call it the The Peachy NSG.

3 oz Haus Peach Passionfruit

5 mint leaves (pat to unlock flavor)

2 basil leaves (pat to unlock flavor)

Reed’s Extra Strength Ginger Beer (fill to the brim)
